Attendees will also have a special opportunity to purchase the banners from artist Kellie Bornhoft's incredible installation, By a Thread.
Kellie worked with local biologists to illustrate 64 species who depend on Great Salt Lake. Printed on unhemmed, transparent fabric, the banners represent how these species are vulnerable and interconnected.
The illustrations are freely available as an open resource to help assist educators, researchers, and activists.
And now, proceeds from the By a Thread banners will also support FRIENDS’ education, research, advocacy, and arts programming.
