Long-time Lake advocate Tim Hawkes recently gave an insightful and hopeful talk at TEDxSaltLakeCity's 2024 event, Branching Out. Tim currently serves as Chairman for both the Great Salt Lake Brine Shrimp Cooperative and the Great Salt Lake Advisory Council, and in his past role in the Utah Legislature sponsored numerous significant water conservation bills. We encourage you to watch his talk, which shares some of the optimism we all need right now to continue preserving and protecting Great Salt Lake in perpetuity.
