Become a FRIEND and/or make a donation. The strength of FRIENDS of Great Salt Lake comes from its members. All of you, with your individual contributions to Great Salt Lake awareness, help provide this organization with the momentum it needs to carry on its work for the Lake.

Uibel-Great_Salt_Lake Be an advocate for the Lake. Recognize the challenges and the opportunities that exist and get involved. Work with us on a variety of fronts to build collaborative partnerships. And help us influence the development of responsible management decisions and policies consistent with good stewardship practices for the long term sustainability of the Lake.

Learn about Great Salt Lake first hand. Understand why it is hemispherically important for millions of migratory birds. Volunteer for our Lakeside Learning Field Trips and help build awareness and appreciation of our big, salty neighbor in the hearts and minds of Utah school children.

Renew your membership. If you are already a member, stay active through participation and by keeping your membership current. Check your newsletter mailing label for your renewal due date. Volunteer. We have a number of volunteer opportunities available from leading student field trips to running our FoGSL booth at outreach events. Please help us continue working with the tenacity and effectiveness that FRIENDS has been recognized for. And help us strengthen our voice for preservation and protection of the Great Salt Lake Ecosystem.
