Every two years, FRIENDS hosts a Great Salt Lake Issues Forum. The Forum provides an opportunity for the Great Salt Lake community to engage in constructive dialogue about the Lake, the future of its ecosystem and its resources.
Uibel-Great_Salt_Lake     The Forum also brings together conservation resources at work regionally, nationally and hemispherically to build partnerships and advance conservation practices and policies for the Lake.

Visit the 2012 Issues Forum Conference website for more information about the Forum held on May 10-11, 2012.

Our 2008 Issues Forum was combined into a joint conference with the International Society for Salt Lake Research. Scientific researchers from around the planet discussed research and programs that help all of us better understand these unique systems. Over 209 people registered to attend the 2008conference and by all accounts, it was a great success.  To view the conference website point your browser to:  www.isslr.org/GSL2008/in/
