JVWCD's Sampling and Analysis Plan PDF Print E-mail

The Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District (JVWCD) proposes a discharge of selenium-tainted water into Great Salt Lake via a 21-mile long pipeline. This proposed project poses many threats to the Great Salt Lake Ecosystem. FoGSL and several others recently submitted comments regarding the draft permit. One of FoGSL's concerns regarding the draft UPDES permit was a lack of a Comprehensive Sampling and Analysis Plan (SAP) which would have outlined the plans for monitoring outfall areas.

Once the SAP was released, FoGSL and partner organizations submitted comments . View the public notice and sampling plan .
