GSLM Announces a Plan for Reducing Water Usage PDF Print E-mail

On November 11th, Great Salt Lake Minerals Corporation (GSLM) announced plans to use less water than initially requested to expand its evaporation pond system at the Great Salt Lake. GSLM believes that the expansion is necessary to meet market demand for SOP fertilizer. However, the proposed expansion raises many concerns.

 

In response to GSLM's announcement, FRIENDS and the Coalition to Keep the Lake Great issued a press release .
